Howdy from Nashville: B&B takes over Canvas Fashion Gallery

We had the honor of bringing a little bit of Nashville to St. Pete for the latest stop on the Booze & Boutiques Destination Series, and it was every bit as fun as we hoped it would be.

Canvas Fashion Gallery transformed into our own version of Music City for an evening filled with live music, shopping, cocktails, food, plenty of cowboy hats and, most importantly, another opportunity to come together for Children’s Dream Fund.

A Little Nashville in St. Pete

From the moment guests arrived, Nashville was in full swing.

We had live music throughout the evening from Urban Gypsies, many guests entered our Dolly Parton look-a-like contest, and drinks were flowing, all while guests shopped Canvas Fashion Gallery and spent the evening catching up with friends.

Saucy Lady served food from her food truck outside, and Channy Girl Stitch created custom bandanas that quickly became one of the hits of the night.

And because this was Nashville, cowboy boots and hats were highly encouraged.

The result was exactly what we love about the Destination Series: a great local business filled with people shopping, eating, drinking, laughing and having a genuinely fun night together.

Shopping With a Bigger Purpose

The fun is only part of why we do these events.

Thanks to everyone who came out, shopped, donated and supported the evening, Destination Nashville raised $3,593.87 for Children’s Dream Fund.

Those funds will help support our Dreamer, Taleya, get that much closer to taking her dream cruise, making a really fun night in St. Pete part of something much bigger.

That is what continues to make this series so meaningful to us. Each destination gives us a chance to introduce people to great local businesses and create an experience worth showing up for, while using that energy to support children and families in our community.

A huge thank you to Canvas Fashion Gallery for opening its doors and helping us bring Nashville to St. Pete, and to everyone who contributed to the night, from the live music and cocktails to the food, custom bandanas and all of the little details that made the event feel like a true trip to Music City.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who showed up.

Every purchase, donation and person who shares these events helps us continue doing what Booze & Boutiques was created to do: bring people and local businesses together while giving back to organizations doing important work in our community.

Nashville, you were a good one.

And we’re already packing our bags for the next stop.

Next Stop: Red Rocks

After Nashville, our next stop is Red Rocks at RockShop Fine Gems and Jewelry

The Booze & Boutiques Destination Series continues on October 29 from 5–8 p.m. when we’re heading to Red Rocks at RockShop Jewelry, 531 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg.

Expect music, gems, drinks, bites and another night built around having a great time while doing some good.

See you at Red Rocks.
